Below Deck chef Anthony Iracane will be returning to the next season of the series, and after a poor performance in the last charter, will this second chance be his redemption? Throughout Below Deck season 11, viewers got the opportunity to watch Chef Anthony in his inaugural season of the series. As he worked from charter to charter, he was able to develop his skills aboard the high-pressure St. David, cementing his place in the minds of Below Deck fans. While he didn’t do the best aboard his first charter, Chef Anthony was an exciting addition to the superyacht crew.

While some Below Deck chefs tend to work hard and deliver high-quality meals, others struggle their way through a charter season, with some even getting fired ahead of the end of the season. Throughout Below Deck history, only a few crew members have returned to the show or one of the other franchise spin-offs for a second chance after being fired. While Chef Anthony was a hard worker aboard Below Deck season 11, he struggled to be consistent with the meal services. Below Deck season 12 will offer Chef Anthony a second chance at working aboard Captain Kerry Titheradge’s superyacht.

Chef Anthony Struggled Without Support On Below Deck Season 11

His Disability And Scattered Emotions Caused Chef Anthony To Struggle

Although Chef Anthony was excited to join Below Deck season 11, he knew that it would be an uphill battle working in a superyacht galley with his disability. Working with dyslexia, Chef Anthony sometimes struggled with a large influx of information, which could happen throughout each meal service when the interior department would bring in changes to his pre-planned meals from the charter guests. With Chef Anthony also struggling in keeping his workspace organized, it was easy to see the issues he’d have as he moved through the season, but viewers were hopeful that he’d overcome his struggles on board.

While Anthony worked hard to prepare meals that would work for the charter guests, he found himself struggling at times to keep things organized during the fast-paced charter season. Working with the interior team at times to try and keep himself organized, he began to struggle a bit more thoroughly with the demands of the charter midway through the season. There was a decent amount of tension between Anthony and the rest of the crew, especially Fraser, who found himself struggling with how poorly Anthony was performing. Though everyone aboard the St. David loved him, Anthony’s performance was too poor.

As Chef Anthony quickly became a fan-favorite on Below Deck season 11, people were hurt when he was fired despite knowing that he wasn’t performing well enough. While he struggled through the last season, it’s been announced that Chef Anthony will be returning for the next season of the series, which surprised Below Deck viewers considerably. While Chef Anthony was great when he was able to work through his meal plans and keep himself organized, his disorganization could be difficult for the crew of Below Deck season 12. While the crew will undoubtedly enjoy Anthony, his return could be tenuous.

Though he’ll be returning with a fresh perspective, Below Deck season 12 will welcome Chef Anthony back with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. The chef will likely need to come into the season trying to impress Captain Kerry and Chief Stew Fraser, ensuring they believe in his abilities as he moves through the charter season. With a new perspective and, hopefully, new tools to make sure that he can work through the charter season’s meal services more easily, Chef Anthony should have a better grasp on Below Deck this season.

Chef Anthony Will Be Able To Make This Charter Season His Renaissance

He’ll Be Able To Redeem Himself

Chef Anthony will be returning to Below Deck season 12 with an exciting new challenge, hoping to outdo himself from the previous season. While the crew and viewers understand that the chef’s culinary talent is incredible, his abilities struggled when he was faced with a high level of pressure. Now, taking the lessons he learned from his first season of Below Deck, Chef Anthony will be coming into Below Deck season 12 ready to take on anything that’s thrown his way. Showing off his skills, Anthony should be able to make this charter season his renaissance, having a major comeback.

Beyond his time in the galley, Chef Anthony can also work to repair the relationships he may have damaged during Below Deck season 12. While he had great rapport with Fraser during the early stretch of the season, Anthony and the Chief Stew struggled to see eye to eye as the charter season continued on and he began to make major mistakes. Chef Anthony may be looking to find a newfound relationship with Fraser, improving their bond and hoping that he’ll be able to prove to the Chief Stew that he still deserves to be in the Below Deck galley.
