Victor Burke, former star of Fair City, is not only a well-known actor in his native Dublin but has also become a successful entrepreneur residing in sunny Malibu.
Before making it big as a businessman in the States, Victor was a familiar face in the world of soaps, having joined the cast of Fair City in 2011.
For many years, he played Wayne Molloy, Dolores’s son and Orla’s husband, until the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted his commute between Los Angeles and Dublin.
Wayne’s most notable storylines include the heartbreak of being an unsuitable donor for his and Orla’s son Junior, who was diagnosed with stage four cancer, and naively falling for numerous financial scams over the years.
His marriage to Orla ended off-screen in 2021 when he lost all their life savings while living abroad in Germany.
Wayne hasn’t been seen in Carrigstown since 2020, but what about actor Victor Burke?
He currently lives in Malibu, where he moved in 2015, with his wife Fiona and their children, Cameron and Isabelle.
“I used to live out there years ago and I fell in love with this particular area which we now live in,” Victor shared with RSVP Live back in 2020.
“It’s a beautiful place to live, and we thought if we ever came back this is where we’d go.
“The kids were going into secondary school so it was a case of now is the time to do it and start a new life for ourselves.”
And while he is a very familiar face in Irish television and theatre, Victor doesn’t work as an actor full-time in the States.
He has turned his hand to entrepreneurship as the co-founder and CMO of Dosen, a new business mentoring company that specializes in producing TV commercials, web videos, and 3D animations.

Victor is also the brains behind IPC Digital Media, a digital signage enterprise, and shares the helm at Wilde Irish Gin as a business partner.
Even though he’s not a regular on Fair City these days, Victor is still close with his castmates and travels home to Ireland.
Snaps on Instagram show him linking up with former co-stars such as Maclean Burke, and taking in the sights of his native country. And while there is no place like home, Victor and his family feel safe in Malibu.
He previously told us: “We live in a very rural place, it’s a lovely community, and very, very safe. It’s probably one of the safest places in America. The local paper often reads that someone’s lost a ring, there are never any burglaries or anything.
“There is always the worry [about gun violence] but you have a security guard in school with a gun and they have security measures in place. I think the bigger worry is if there’s an earthquake or tsunami.
“It’s very safe though honestly, you never hear of a fight or a scuffle or anything. Dare I say where we are is safer than Dublin.”
