Clad in casual attire, the couple worked alongside volunteers, including renowned chef José Andrés and his World Central Kitchen team.
The non-profit has been providing hot meals to displaced residents and emergency workers battling the fires.
They were not here for publicity, they came out here to work.
Meghan and Harry have supported the organisation through their Archewell Foundation since 2020, and Meghan even contributed her signature lemon olive oil cake recipe to its cookbook in 2023.
Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo, who accompanied the couple, praised their dedication.
“They really buoyed the spirits of the first responders,” he gushed. “We visited the command post at the Rose Bowl, and people were very happy to see them.”

Mayor Gordo revealed that earlier in the day, Harry and Meghan had made an anonymous visit to the evacuation centre.
Donning masks, they served meals to evacuees who didn’t recognise them.
“They were not here for publicity, they came out here to work,” Gordo insisted. “They took the time to meet the people who were affected and spend time.”
He added: They are just very caring people who are very concerned for their friends and neighbours.”
Meanwhile, Harry demonstrated his thoughtfulness during a touching encounter with an elderly evacuee.
Offering the man food and water, Harry was surprised when the man requested a doughnut instead.
True to his word, Harry reportedly returned 10 minutes later with the sweet treat.
The evacuee, still unaware of Harry’s identity, laughed and said: “I guess I need my carbs and my sugar.” He added: “If you ever run for anything, I’ll vote for you!”

The couple’s compassion extended beyond the convention centre. They also reportedly opened their Montecito mansion to friends and loved ones displaced by the fires and encouraged others to do the same.
In a statement on their website, the Sussexes urged residents to offer shelter to evacuees and check on elderly or disabled neighbours.
“Please consider donating clothing, children’s toys, and other essentials,” they wrote.
The Los Angeles wildfires have claimed at least 24 lives, burned through thousands of acres, and destroyed thousands of homes.
California Governor Gavin Newsom described the scenes of devastation as “heartbreaking” while LA County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone warned that high winds and dry conditions continue to pose a severe fire threat.
