STEEP PRICE RTE Fair City viewers all call Ger Lynch a ‘con artist’ after she demands money from Lorcan after shop accident

RTE Fair City viewers were all left calling Ger Lynch a “con artist” when she demanded over €300 from teen Lorcan for shop damages.

On tonight’s episode, Carol was insulted when she was left off the guest list for Ger’s antique store launch but accepted an offer to visit the shop before the grand opening.

Later on, when Carol visited the new antique store with Lorcan, tensions rose when he dropped and broke one of Ger’s antiques.

Carol, already at her wits end with Lorcan for slacking at work, begrudgingly gave Lorcan the money to pay for the damage.

However, Ger clashed with Carol when she demanded €300 for the broken plate.

Emma and Sharon attempted to keep the peace between the two, but Ger couldn’t help but throw personal jabs at Carol.

To get back at her, Carol secretly cancelled Ger’s delivery of furniture right before the big opening.

RTE viewers were quick to react as the drama unfolded on the episode.

Ciara wrote on X: “300 euro for the con artist Ger.”

Fiona said: “Ger is such a con.”

Ross added: “Ger seems to be stuck for money.”

While Adam remarked: “You wouldn’t pay 50 cent for the plate.”

Meanwhile, Babs was feeling fed up with her work as a taxi driver and Victor encouraged her to look into alternative careers.

However, Victor scoffed when Babs suggested she would be interested in joining the Gardaí.

After further research, Babs began training with Gareth to prepare for the Garda physical exam.

Gareth was supportive but Victor remained unconvinced by Babs’ idea.

DATE DISASTER

Elsewhere, Maxine and Sash looked forward to a date night together.

However, plans changed when Ian became drunk in McCoys and tried to hit on Gwen.

Maxine was then forced to take him home.

Sash was put out by the situation, but Maxine got defensive of Ian.

She promised to make it up to Sash with another date night.

While that was happening, Nikki became intrigued by Sean’s new extreme saving methods and wanted to follow suit.

However, when analysing her spending with Cass and Sean, she was taken aback by just how much she needed to sacrifice to cut costs.
