The Vivienne’s ‘Unnatural’ Death Sparks Concern Among ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Fans
An inquest has been opened into the reality TV show winner’s death at age 32.

New details have emerged in the death of drag star The Vivienne.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner, whose real name is James Lee Williams, died at age 32 on Jan. 5. Initially, no details regarding their cause of death were shared with the public, but a new development reveals that The Vivienne died of “unnatural” causes.
On Wednesday, Feb. 12, an inquest at Cheshire Coroner’s Court in Warrington heard that post-mortem examination revealed an “unnatural cause of death” for the late reality TV star, according to area coroner Victoria Davies.
“Given the unnatural cause of death identified on post-mortem testing it is appropriate for me to formally open the inquest into the death of James Lee Williams,” Davies said, per the BBC.
